5 Beards That Could Help Your Production!
Recently me and Metrik produced a track together and while we were in studio land we started a conversation about beards and it got me thinking weather they really can help you in the studio! Here are 5 examples of Beards that if implemented in the right way could add depth to your production.
1. The Swire
The most Iconic off all the beards must be The Swire, Aerodynamically crafted for the true audio enthusiast. Cutting like knife through the sound with a special curved shape changing and evolving with the production needs. Loudness is not an issue when you have a beard like this.
2. The Cyantific
Extra thick for a full rich sound Cyantific is really pushing the envelope with this impressive and quite recent studio beard.
3. The Subfocus
Sub focus here from a recent Instagram clearly exposing some of his studio secrets with this beard and hair combo. With full coverage this guy truly is a genius!
4. The Andy C
Streamlined and crisp for the transient response, never a beat missed or double drop clanged. Could did be that The Andy C beard is not only for producers but could it help you to push the envelope in your DJ Skills.
5. The Etherwood
Lifted again from instagram The Etherwood with a crafted look for in depth and critical listening.
In conclusion there are still many questions to be answered: Are sideburns a contributing factor to the overall sound dampening characteristics of the beard? Does hair length come into it? Does it effect you’re ability EQ mid/side?
Who knows, I will let you draw your own conclusions but I am absolutely convinced beyond any reasonable doubt whatsoever that producers have been keeping this a secret for too long and its my duty to bring it to the world.
